My daughter and I would repeatedly argue about cleaning her bedroom. I would tell her to clean it and she would tell me she didn’t know what to do with all her stuff. My daughter was overwhelmed with the excessive amounts of toys, clothes, and books in her room. She wasn't able to enjoy the space she slept and played in. Because my daughter didn’t know where to start or how to ‘clean’ her room, I would take over and do the task myself. Each time I would take the liberty of purging her belongings without her awareness. We needed help!

Grace Brooke and I met in 2001. In 2002, while I still owned Lisa Hemenway’s Bistro, Grace helped me to organize and manage my restaurant’s business and personal contacts.
